Limitations on recording 14 bit images in RAW format
The following camera models can record RAW images in 14-bits per pixel color resolution. However, the resolution will be limited to 12 bits depending on these shooting settings.
These limitations are described in the File Format (still image) section of the Help Guide. 14 bits recording of RAW images is always possible for models that don't have limitations in the File Format (still image) section of the Help Guide

*1 Single-shot shooting includes Self-Timer mode and Interval mode.
*2 Continuous shooting includes multiple-burst shooting under Superior Auto mode, Continuous shooting under Self-Timer mode, and Cont. Bracket mode.
*3 Long Exposure NR is active when set to On, and the shutter speed is set to 1 second or longer.
Note: JPEG images will be recorded in 8 bits.
