    How Do the Accessibility Functions Work?

    Screen Reader

    The Screen Reader function verbally describes (reads) the text on the screen. Follow these steps to turn on the Screen Reader function:

    ILCE-7M4, ILCE-7RM5, ILME-FX30, ZV-1F

    • MENU → (Setup) → Accessibility → Screen Reader → Screen Reader → On

    To adjust the speed or volume, follow these steps:

    • MENU → (Setup) → Accessibility → Screen Reader → Speed → Select the speed when reading aloud.
    • MENU → (Setup) → Accessibility → Screen Reader → Volume → Select the volume when reading aloud.

    ILME-FR7

    Press the Settings operation screen switching tab of the Web Menu to display the settings screen.

    • Maintenance → Accessibility → Screen Reader → On

    To adjust the speed or volume, follow these steps:

    • Maintenance → Accessibility → Speech Rate → Select the speed when reading aloud.
    • Maintenance → Accessibility → Speech Volume → Select the volume when reading aloud.
