Software Update Required message appears when trying to access any of the Internet video services.
The Software Update Required message will appear because the Blu-ray Disc® player requires the latest software update.
IMPORTANT: Downloading a software update requires a stable high-speed Internet connection. If you have followed the steps below and are unable to complete the software update, updates can also be downloaded using a computer.
Downloads are posted on your model support page.
- Using the supplied remote, press the HOME button.
- Select Setup.
- Select Network Update.

NOTE: An information box will appear on the TV showing the latest version of firmware. - Select OK.
NOTE: Once the update is completed the unit will turn off automatically. Turn the unit on and access the application again.
