What types of discs can be played on the Blu-ray Disc player?

    The following table shows the playable Blu-ray Disc® types.

    Important:

    • Simply copying the movie file onto a disc using a computer is not sufficient for playback. You have to create a DMV, BDAV, or BDMV format disc using disc creation software.
    • Refer to your operating manual for the specific file types supported with disc media. Manuals are posted on your model support page.
