How Do the Accessibility Functions Work?

Screen Reader

This function verbally describes information displayed on the screen. Follow these steps to turn on this function.

1. On the supplied remote control, press the Options button during playback operations.
2. Select Accessibility.
3. Select Screen Reader.

Audio Description (Audio key)

This function is an additional audio track that provides added audio narration about components of a scene to those who are visually impaired. Follow these steps to turn on this function.

1. On the remote control, press the Audio button.
2. Select your preferred language track.
   • This is only available when you record multilingual tracks on your device.

Enlarge

It enlarges the text size displayed on the screen. Follow these steps to turn on this function.

1. On the remote control, press the Options button during playback operations.
2. Select Accessibility.
3. Select Enlarge.

Closed Caption

This function (also known as subtitles) displays the audio portion of a program as text on the screen of your TV. Follow these steps to turn on this function.

1. On the remote control, press the Options button during playback operations.
2. Select Accessibility.
3. Select Closed Captions.
   • This is only available during video playback.

Accessibility Shortcut

Turns on the shortcut in options window during playback operations. If you want to turn on this function on your DVD Player, on the remote control, press and release the 5, 5, power buttons consecutively.
