The RDR-GX7 disc tray doesn't open when the OPEN/CLOSE button is pressed

This occurs when you try to open the disc tray immediately after a disc has been recorded or edited. Allow time for the DVD recorder to complete the recording or editing process, then press the OPEN/CLOSE button and remove the disc.
