Cannot dub from a VHS tape to a DVD.
Dubbing cannot be performed when the DVD recorder is set to record from the DV IN jack; the DVD and VIDEO dubbing buttons will be inoperable and the edit mode will be unavailable. Even though you are not recording from an external device, the DVD recorder must be set to record from the LINE 1 IN or LINE 2 IN jacks to dub from a VHS tape onto a DVD. Press the INPUT SELECT button on the remote control to change the input source from DV input mode to one of the line input jacks.
If you continue to have issues or problems when trying to dub, perform an Easy Setup operation.
