How to prevent automatic restart on system failure.
- Click the Start button, and then click Control Panel.
- In the Control Panel window, click System and Security.
- In the System and Security, click System.
- In the System window, on the left, click Advanced system settings.
NOTE: If prompted for an administrator password or a User Account Control prompt is displayed, type the appropriate password, or click Yes.
- Under Startup and Recovery, click the Settings button.
- Under System failure, click to uncheck the box in front of Automatically restart and click the OK button.
