How to reinitialize the mouse driver.

    1. Using the keyboard, press the Windows key to open the Start Menu.
    2. Press the C key to open the Control Panel.

      NOTE: If the Control Panel does not open, press the C key until Control Panel is selected, then press the ENTER key.

    3. In the Control Panel window, press the TAB key to select the Performance and Maintenance icon.
    4. Press the ENTER key.
    5. In the Performance and Maintenance window, press the TAB key until the System icon is selected.
    6. Press the ENTER key.
    7. In the System Properties window, press the RIGHT ARROW key until the Hardware tab is selected.
    8. In the System Properties window, on the Hardware tab, press the TAB key until the Device Manager button is selected.
    9. Press the ENTER key.
    10. In the Device Manager window, press the TAB key until the computer model number is selected.
    11. Press the DOWN ARROW key until Mice and other pointing devices is selected.
    12. Press the RIGHT ARROW key to display the current mouse driver.
    13. Press the DOWN ARROW key until the current mouse driver is selected.
    14. Press the ENTER key.
    15. In theMouse Properties window, press the TAB key until the General tab is selected.
    16. Press the RIGHT ARROW key until the Driver tab is selected.
    17. On the Driver tab, press the TAB key until Uninstall is selected.
    18. In the Confirm Device Removal window, press the ENTER key to remove the device.
    19. In the System Settings Change window, press the ENTER key to restart the computer.
