The wireless keyboard does not function properly or functions erratically, when using two desktop computers with wireless keyboards.

    Follow this procedure to resolve the issue of the wireless keyboard not functioning properly or functioning erratically, when using two desktop computers with wireless keyboards.

    IMPORTANT: Information on battery and button placement for the wireless keyboard and mouse can be found in the VAIO® Users Guide.

    1. Turn off all computers with wireless keyboards.
    2. Remove the batteries from both wireless keyboards.

      NOTE: Ensure to leave the batteries removed for at least one minute.

    3. On the first computer, remove the batteries from the mouse.
    4. On the second computer reset the mouse.

      NOTE: To perform a reset of the mouse, with the mouse turned on press the Connect, Left, Right, and Wheel buttons at the same time, for 10 seconds.

    5. Remove the batteries from the second computers mouse.
    6. Insert the batteries into the first computers mouse.
    7. On the first computer reset the mouse.

      NOTE: To perform a reset of the mouse, with the mouse turned on press the Connect, Left, Right, and Wheel buttons at the same time, for 10 seconds.

    8. Insert the batteries into the first computers keyboard.
    9. Turn on the first computer.
    10. On the first computer, press the CONNECT button.
    11. On the first computers keyboard, press the Connect button.
    12. Release both buttons.
    13. On the first computer, press the CONNECT button.
    14. On the first computers mouse, press the Connect button.
    15. Release both buttons.
    16. Confirm that the wireless keyboard and mouse are working properly.
    17. Turn off the first computer.
    18. Remove the batteries from the first computers wireless keyboard and mouse.
    19. Insert the batteries into the second computers wireless keyboard and mouse.
    20. Turn on the second computer.
    21. On the second computer, press the CONNECT button.
    22. On the second computers keyboard, press the Connect button.
    23. Release both buttons.
    24. On the second computer, press the CONNECT button.
    25. On the second computers mouse, press the Connect button.
    26. Release both buttons.
    27. Confirm that the wireless keyboard and mouse are working properly.
    28. Insert the batteries into the first computers wireless keyboard and mouse.
    29. Turn on the first computer.
