What are the VAIO Care Premium Tools? - The VAIO Care Premium Tools contains a set of utilities that can be purchased and help maintain and improve the performance of your VAIO® computer.

What type of utilities do the VAIO Care Premium Tools offer? - There are 3 different tools that are currently being offered:

• Program Accelerator: Based on patent pending technology, this utility goes beyond obsolete disk defragmenter tools by realigning related files, resulting in remarkably faster startup and quicker responsiveness for all of your favorite programs.
• Memory Mechanic: This utility instantly reclaims lost memory and liberates valuable resources, allowing your computer to run at its best for longer.
• NetBooster: This utility safely optimizes your connection settings so you can enjoy maximum-speed web browsing, email, downloads, and gaming.

How much do the VAIO Care Premium Tools cost? - A one year subscription for the VAIO Care Premium Tools currently costs $ 9.95 USD.

How do I purchase the VAIO Care Premium Tools? - Follow these steps to purchase the VAIO Care Premium Tools:

IMPORTANT: VAIO Care version 7.3 or higher and an active Internet connection are required in order to complete the purchase of the VAIO Care Premium Tools.

1. Open the VAIO Care utility.
2. In the VAIO Care window, click Advanced Tools.
3. In the Advanced Tools screen, click Premium Tools.
4. In the VAIO Care Premium Tools window, click the Get it Now button.
5. Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the purchase process.

   IMPORTANT:

   • Once the purchase process has been completed, you will receive a payment receipt from www.iolo.com and a Premium Tools - 1 year service activation code via email.
   • If you do not receive an email with an activation code, be sure to check your Junk Mail folder for an email from IOLO® Technologies. Your email program may not have recognized the IOLO address and automatically moved it to that folder.
6. Click the Start button, click All Programs, and then click VAIO Care.
7. In the VAIO Care window, click Advanced Tools.
8. In the Advanced Tools screen, click Premium Tools.
9. In the VAIO Care Premium Tools window, enter the activation code you received in the email and click the Activate button.

   NOTE: Please use the same email address used to receive the Premium Tools - 1 year service email.

How do I use the VAIO Care Premium Tools? - Follow these steps to use the VAIO Care Premium Tools:

1. Click the Start button, click All Programs, and then click VAIO Care.
2. In the VAIO Care window, click Advanced Tools.
3. In the Advanced Tools screen, click Premium Tools.
4. In the VAIO Care Premium Tools window, click to launch the desired VAIO Care Premium Tool:
   • Internet performance:
     • Click to select either the Broadband connection or Dial-up connection option, and then click the Optimize button.
     • Once the optimization process is complete, click the Restart Now button.
   • Program accelerator: The optimization process will begin immediately, and may take some time to complete.
   • Memory defragmenter: Click the Optimize button to begin the Memory optimization process.

   NOTE: The Internet performance and Memory defragmenter tools can be completed in a short time, while the Program accelerator tool can take longer, depending on the optimization options selected.
