How to reinstall the HotKey Utility on the notebook computer.

Follow this procedure to reinstall the HotKey Utility using the VAIO Recovery Wizard program.

IMPORTANT:

• This model does not use Recovery CDs to reinstall the drivers. Recovery data is included on a special partition of the hard drive.
• Do not interrupt the power during the recovery process.

1. Close all open programs.
2. On the taskbar, click the Start button, point to All Programs, and click VAIO Recovery Wizard.
3. In the VAIO Recovery Wizard window, click the Next button.
4. In the Media and Recovery Options window, click to select the Proceed with System Recovery option.
5. Click the Next button.
6. In the Recovery Options window, click to select the Custom Recovery (Recommended for advanced users) option.
7. Click the Next button.
8. In the Custom Recovery Options window, click to select the Application Recovery option.
9. Click the Next button.
10. In the Begin Application Recovery window, click to select the HotKey Utility box.
11. Click the Next button.
12. In the Application Recovery Complete window, click the Finish button.

    NOTE: The computer will restart.
