What Memory Stick® media is compatible with the computers that have a built-in Memory Stick® media slot?

Computers with built in Memory Stick slots will support all Memory Stick media. Memory stick PRO-HG™ media and PRO-HG Duo™ media are supported, but the computer does not support 8-bit parallel data transfer.

IMPORTANT: Magic Gate™ Memory Stick media is compatible with the built-in Memory Stick slot. However, the Magic Gate properties of the Memory Stick media will only function on units displaying the MG logo.

NOTES:

• Some Memory Stick slot-equipped computers come with the Memory Stick Format Utility which should be used when formatting the Memory Stick media.
• Formatting the Memory Stick media with the operating system may result in format errors. The Memory Stick Format Utility is available for download.

• Firmware updates to support the Memory Stick PRO™ media may be available on the Sony® eSupport Web site at https://esupport.sony.com.
