What are the VAIO and Assist buttons on the computer?

NOTE: Not all computers have these buttons. To see if your computer has the buttons, check the specifications. Manuals are posted on your model support page.

Both buttons are located above the keyboard and perform the following functions:

• The VAIO button launches the VAIO® Media Gallery software which allows you to browse and enjoy your digital photos, videos and music.
• The Assist button launches the VAIO Care™ software which is a simple do-it yourself PC maintenance tool for tune-ups, troubleshooting and system recovery.
