What is the keyboard backlight feature?
Some VAIO® computers are equipped with a feature that allows the computer to provide LED illumination for the keyboard that shine through the characters as well as between the keys.
IMPORTANT: Not all computers are equipped with this feature. Consult the Marketing Specifications or Users Guide to see if your computer has this feature.

Using a built-in light sensor, the Backlit KB feature will turn on automatically in low light situations, or can be set to come on when and for however long you decide .
