How to change the default web browser back to Internet Explorer.

If you have selected another default web browser aside from Internet Explorer® application, follow these steps to make Internet Explorer the default web browser again.

NOTE: Internet Explorer is the default web browser unless changed.

1. In the new Windows User Interface (UI) Start screen, click the Desktop tile.
2. On the Desktop, click the Internet Explorer tile.
3. In the Internet Explorer window, click the Tools icon, and the click to select Internet Options.
4. In the Internet Options window, click the Programs tab.
5. On the Programs tab, locate and click Make Internet Explorer the default browser.
6. In the Internet Options window, click Apply then, click OK.
