What are the actions triggered by the edge gestures in the Windows 10 operating system?

Edge gestures are the actions that are triggered by swiping a finger in (or fingers) from one of the four edges of a multi-touch display screen. These edge gestures provide quick access to important system interface functions. Edge gestures were first introduced in the Windows® 8 operating system, but Microsoft® Corporation has changed each edge gestures in the Windows 10 operating system from what they were in previous versions. Below are the actions for more common edge gestures in the Windows 10 operating system:

• Left Edge Swipe: This gesture brings up the Task View, which is the universal task-switching interface.
• Right Edge Swipe: This gesture brings up the Action Center, which shows the notification and commonly used system settings.
• Top Edge Swipe: This gesture bring up the hidden title bar (Short swipe) or will snap or close an app while the operating system is in Tablet Mode  (Long swipe).
• Bottom Edge Swipe: This gesture brings up the taskbar when an app is in full screen.
