Follow this procedure to troubleshoot the video display after downloading video drivers from a non-Sony Web site.
- Start the computer in Safe Mode.
- With the computer running in Safe Mode, on the taskbar, click the Start button, and then click Control Panel.
- In the Control Panel window, under Pick a category, double-click the Performance and Maintenance icon.
- In the Performance and Maintenance window, under or pick a Control Panel icon, double-click the System icon.
- In the System Properties window, click the Hardware tab.
- On the Hardware tab, in the Device Manager box, click the Device Manager button.
- In the Device Manager window, double-click Display adapters.
- Under Display adapters, double-click the listed display adapter.
- In the display adapter Properties window, click the Driver tab.
- On the Driver tab, click the Roll Back Driver button.
- In the display adapter name dialog box, click the Yes button.
- In the display adapter Properties window, click the Close button.
- Close the Device Manager window.
- Close the Control Panel window.
- Restart the computer.
