How to determine the BIOS version.

Use either of the following procedures to locate the BIOS version that is currently installed on a computer running the Windows® 7 or Vista® operating system:

• Use VAIO® Control Center from within the operating system.
  1. Click the Start button and then click All Programs.
  2. In the All Programs menu, click VAIO Control Center.
  3. In the VAIO Control Center window, in the left pane, click System Information.
  4. Under System Information, click System Information.
  5. In the right pane, in the Product Information section, the BIOS version is listed.
• Use the BIOS Setup Utility.
  1. Turn off the computer.
  2. Turn on the computer.
  3. At the initial VAIO screen, press the F2 key.
  4. In the BIOS SETUP UTILITY screen, the BIOS version is displayed.
