How to add or remove a screen saver password.

    Follow this procedure to add or remove a screen saver password.

    1. In the new Windows User Interface (UI) Start screen, click the Desktop tile.Image
    2. On the Desktop, point to (but do not click) the lower-right or top-right corner of the screen, and then click to select the Settings charm.
    3. In the Settings screen, click Personalization.
    4. In the Personalization screen, click the Screen Saver icon.
    5. In the Screen Saver Settings window, in the Screen saver section, click to place a check in the box next to On resume, display logon screen.

      NOTE: Remove the check in the box next to On resume, display logon screen if you want to remove the need to enter a password when resuming from the screen saver.

    6. In the Screen Saver Settings window, click the OK button.
    7. In the Personalization window, click the X in the upper right corner to close the window.
