How to switch from the Microsoft Edge browser to the Internet Explorer 11 browser when there are website compatibility issues.

    The Microsoft® Edge browser was created to have a new web-rendering engine to make a break from legacy Internet Explorer®-specific technologies. This break from legacy technologies has created several benefits including better interoperability with other modern browsers, improved performance, security and reliability, and reduced code complexity. However, this also means the Microsoft Edge browser no longer supports some legacy technologies.

    When you are using the Microsoft Edge browser and find a web site with compatibility issues, you can use the Internet Explorer 11 browser to resolve these issues. In the Microsoft Edge browser, click the More actions icon and then click Open with Internet Explorer.
