What is the USB Streaming feature for camcorders?

USB Streaming is a feature found on some Sony® camcorders that will allow live video and audio to be transferred to a computer using a USB cable connection. This feature is especially useful when using a camcorder as a webcam for video conferencing.

Note: Not all Sony camcorders with a USB port have USB Streaming capability. Consult the instruction manual of the camcorder for specific information. Manuals are posted on your model support page.
