How to establish a manual connection from the car stereo to a Bluetooth® device.

IMPORTANT: Only the last connected hands-free device or the last connected Bluetooth audio system can be manually connected.

To manually connect as a hands-free device:

    1. Make sure both the Bluetooth car audio system and the cellular phone are switched to Bluetooth signal on.
    2. Press the SOURCE button repeatedly until BT PHONE appears.
    3. Press the SEL, SELECT, or hands-free [FIG. 1] button.
    4. The Bluetooth icon [FIG. 2] flashes while the connection is being made and should then stay lit once the connection is completed.

NOTE: While streaming Bluetooth audio, you cannot connect from the Bluetooth audio system to the cellular phone. You will need to connect from the cellular phone to the Bluetooth audio system instead. A connecting noise may be heard.

To manually connect as an audio device:

    1. Verify that both the Bluetooth car audio system and the audio device are switched to Bluetooth signal on.
    2. Press the SOURCE button repeatedly until BT AUDIO appears.
    3. Press the 6 button.
    4. The Bluetooth icon [FIG. 2] flashes while the connection is being made and should then stay lit once the connection is completed.

NOTE: If you want to connect to a different device other than the last connected devices, you will need to proceed from the Device menu.
