Preset stations are lost after I turn the car ignition off.

If you have to reprogram the preset stations for the car stereo every time you turn the ignition switch to off, there may be a problem with the wiring. Try the following steps to troubleshoot this issue:

1. Turn on the car engine.
2. Power on the car stereo.
3. Set one or two radio stations as presets.
4. Turn off only the car stereo using the POWER On/Off button. Leave the car running.
5. Wait just a few seconds, then turn the car stereo back on and check if the preset stations are still active.

If the stations are still assigned as they were previously, that indicates there is a problem with your wiring installation. We recommend that you contact the Dealer or Installer that connected the system for you to verify the hookup and to make sure that the cable that is needed to retain the station programming is accurately and securely connected.

If the issue is still unresolved, service may be required.  Go to Product Repair.
