How to turn off the Xperia device protection?

Follow the troubleshooting steps according to the operating system on your device.
Remove your Google™ account(s) from the device to disable device protection
Android™ 9 or higher
- Find and tap Settings → Accounts/ Passwords and accounts.
- Tap a Google account.
- Tap REMOVE ACCOUNT → REMOVE ACCOUNT.
- If this is the only Google account on the phone, you'll need to enter your phone's pattern, PIN, or password for security.
- Repeat the procedure for additional accounts.
Android 8.x
- Find and tap Settings → Users & accounts.
- Tap a Google account.
- Tap REMOVE ACCOUNT → REMOVE ACCOUNT.
- If this is the only Google account on the device, you'll need to enter your device's pattern, PIN, or password for security.
- Repeat the procedure for additional accounts.
Android 6.0 or 7.x
- Find and tap Settings → Accounts & sync.
- Tap a Google account.
- Tap REMOVE ACCOUNT → REMOVE ACCOUNT.
- If this is the only Google account on the device, you'll need to enter your device's pattern, PIN, or password for security.
- Repeat the procedure for additional accounts.
