Solution

Your personal contact information is stored under My info in the Contacts application. It's useful when you want to share your contact details with another person either through SMS, email, or Bluetooth®.

• Your personal contact information is no longer stored as a default contact in the contact list starting on Android 8.0 and later devices.

Steps to edit My info

Android 10

1. Find and tap Contacts.
2. Tap  (menu icon) → Settings → My info.
3. Tap the edit icon or the pencil icon in the upper right corner.
4. Edit the desired information.
5. When done, tap SAVE.

Android 9 or lower

1. Find and tap Contacts.
2. Tap  (menu icon) → My info.
3. Tap the edit icon or the pencil icon in the upper right corner.
4. Edit the desired information.
