Thanks to the joint work of a the 3D iToF sensor, the BIONZ X™ for Mobile engine, and the large Exmor RS™ for Mobile sensor, the Xperia 1 II camera has faster and more accurate autofocusing in any scene.

The 3D iToF sensor measures the distance between the camera and the object by detecting the time difference between the emission of the infrared rays and its return to the sensor after being reflected by the object.

It helps to get accurate focusing even in the low light conditions.
