Xperia Transfer 2 App Ending

    Dear Valued Sony Customer,

    Thank you for your continued interest in Sony products.

    The Xperia® Transfer 2 app used in some Xperia products will be terminated on June 30, 2023.

    Details and Resolution

    Before June 30, 2023, you can use the Xperia Transfer 2 app to transfer data and content from your old smartphone to your new Xperia phone. On June 30, 2023, the service will close, and the app will be removed from the Google Play Store.

    We recommend you use built-in Android™ OS functions to transfer data and content from your old smartphone to your new Xperia phone. Update your new Xperia phone to the latest Android OS version, and then transfer the data and contents from your old device.

    Note: You can use the Android OS transfer functions now.
