What is the Explore option in Storage in Android 6.0 and 7.0?
A native file manager is available in the Settings menu in Android 6.0 and 7.0. This allows you to copy and paste your data between folders and storage locations.
Tip: Most devices also include an additional file manager application, such as the File Commander application. Other file manager applications are available for download from Google Play Store.Xperia L series, Xperia XA, Xperia XA Ultra and Xperia E5 running Android 7.0
To find the Explore option
- Find and tap Settings > Storage & memory.
- Tap the menu button (three vertical dots) > Advanced > Storage.
- Find and tap Explore or SD Card (if available) > Explore.
Xperia Z series, Xperia C4, Xperia C5 Ultra, Xperia M4 Aqua and Xperia M5 running Android 6.0 or higher
