How can I find files received using Bluetooth? (Android 8.0 or higher)

You can use the built-in file manager to locate, move, copy, rename, or share files you received using Bluetooth®.
Locate a file received using Bluetooth
Note: The folder location varies by Android version.
Android 12 or higher
- Find and tap Settings → Storage.
- If your device has an external SD™ card, tap internal shared storage. If not, go directly to step 3. (For Android 13: select SD card in the pulldown menu under Storage.)
- Choose a folder according to the category of received files. (Example: "Image" for photos, "Audio" for music files)
- Tap Downloads.
Android 11:
- Find and tap Settings → Storage.
- If your device has an external SD card, tap internal shared storage. If not, go directly to step 3.
- Find and tap Files.
- Tap Downloads.
Android 10, Android 9, Android 8:
- Find and tap Settings → Storage.
- If your device has an external SD card, tap internal shared storage. If not, go directly to step 3.
- Find and tap Files.
- Tap Bluetooth.
Notes:
- Touch and hold a file icon to (share) it, or tap the menu button (three vertical dots) to move, copy or rename it.
- You can also download a file manager app from Google Play™ Store. Files received using Bluetooth are found in your file manager's Bluetooth folder.
