Can I connect my Xperia to an external display or TV using a cable?

You can connect your Xperia® 1, Xperia 5, Xperia 1 II, Xperia 5 II, Xperia PRO, Xperia 1 III, Xperia 5 III, Xperia PRO-I, Xperia 1 IV, Xperia 5 IV, or Xperia 1 V to an external display or TV with a DisplayPort™ or HDMI® port.
- To connect the phone to an external display or TV with a DisplayPort, you can use a USB Type-C™ cable that supports DisplayPort 4K 60 fps (frames per second).
- To connect the phone to an external display or TV with an HDMI port, you can use a USB-C to HDMI adapter cable, which supports DisplayPort 4K 60 fps.
