The following benefits and improvements are also included in this update.

• Reduces the signal scan time when using Auto select for inputs that do not use a cable
• Ensures the monitor will use the correct refresh rate when VRR is turned off on the computer
• Fixed an issue where the monitor sometimes does not wake up from Standby when connected to a computer

Preparation

You can update the software of the monitor using a Windows computer. The software cannot be updated using other operating systems.
Note: In order to perform the software update properly, connect only the monitor and computer as follows:

1. Download and install the INZONE hub application.
2. Connect the following cables from your computer to the monitor:
   • An HDMI (or other) cable to transmit the video
   • A USB cable to transmit data for the update
   Example connection method: Use HDMI port 1 (A) for the video input connection and the USB Type-C terminal (B) for the USB connection.
   
   Settings for the example connection method: In the INZONE Hub software or on the monitor menu, under USB Hub, set the KVM SWITCH 1 to HDMI 1 Sync.
   

Hint: For all connection methods and settings available on the monitor menu or in the INZONE Hub software refer to the following:

HDMI port and USB Type-C terminal

When using HDMI port 1 or HDMI port 2 (A) for the video input connection and the USB Type-C terminal (B) for the USB connection, set the KVM SWITCH 1 to HDMI 1 Sync or HDMI 2 Sync.

HDMI port and USB Type-B terminal

When using HDMI port 1 or HDMI port 2 (A) for the video input connection and the USB Type-B terminal (B) for the USB connection, set the KVM SWITCH 2 to HDMI 1 Sync or HDMI 2 Sync.

DisplayPort and USB Type-C terminal

When using DisplayPort (A) for the video input connection and the USB Type-C terminal (B) for the USB connection, set the KVM SWITCH 1 to DP Sync.

DisplayPort and USB Type-B terminal

When using DisplayPort (A) for the video input connection and the USB Type-B terminal (B) for the USB connection, set the KVM SWITCH 2 to DP Sync.

USB Type-C terminal only

When using the USB Type-C terminal (A) for the video input and USB connection, set the KVM SWITCH 1 to USB-C (DP Alt Mode) Sync.

USB Type-C terminal and USB Type-B terminal

When using the USB Type-C terminal (A) for the video input connection and the USB Type-B terminal (B) for the USB connection, set the KVM SWITCH 2 to USB-C (DP Alt Mode) Sync.

Download & Install

Follow these steps to update the software of the monitor:

1. Restart the monitor and computer.
2. Start the INZONE Hub software.
3. Select Device Settings.
   
4. Select the Update button.
   Note: A notification will be displayed in the System Software Information section when a new update is available.
   
5. Read the information on the screen and then select the Update Now button.
   Note: Make sure no other monitors are connected to the computer.
   

How to check the INZONE monitor software version

Via the monitor screen

1. Press the Joystick on the rear of the monitor to display the menu.
2. Move the Joystick to the right to select Others-DDC/CI.
3. Move the Joystick down and select Software version.
4. The software version is shown on the monitor screen.
   • Main: Mxxx
   • Sub: xxx

Via the INZONE Hub software

1. Select the Device Settings tab of INZONE Hub.
2. The software version is shown under System Software Information.
   
   • VERSION (MAIN): xxxx
   • VERSION (SUB): xxx
