aibo Doesn't Return to Its Charging Station

Your aibo™ robotic companion may not return to its charging station for the following reasons:

• aibo doesn't walk around or operate as normal.
  • Put aibo into sleep mode and wake it up again.

    1. On the back of aibo's neck, briefly press the power button.
       • The status LED lights in red to indicate that it's in sleep mode.

       

    2. Briefly press the power button again to wake up aibo.

• aibo doesn't know or remember the location of its charging station.
  • Teach aibo where its charging station is located.
• The location of the charging station is difficult to find.
  • Make sure to place it where aibo can easily find it.

    • Choose a bright room without direct sunlight.
    • Avoid placing the charging station in areas with high room temperatures of 95°F (35°C) and higher.
    • Allow for clearance around the charging station and keep any objects out of it.

      

• The remaining battery isn't sufficient for aibo to return.
  • Place aibo near the charging station. If aibo still doesn't return to it, contact the Customer Support for further assistance.
