How to back up the license information for the VAIO® Movie Experience and restore it after a system recovery.

    Follow this procedure to back up the license information for the Microsoft® Media Player software and restore it after a system recovery.

    WARNING: There is a risk of data loss. Licensed content, such as movies acquired from the VAIO® Movie Experience CD supplied with select models, will no longer be playable if the license information is not backed up prior to a system recovery, and restored afterward.

    1. Back up the license information in the Microsoft® Media Player software.
    2. Perform the system recovery.
    3. Restore the license information in the Microsoft® Media Player software.
