How to open a command prompt window.
Follow these steps to access the command prompt.
- From the Start screen, press the Windows Logo + X key combination.
- On the menu, click Command Prompt.
- The Command Prompt window will appear.
NOTE: If you wish to open the Command Prompt window with administrator rights, click the Command Prompt (Admin) option.
