What is the Automatic Volume Limiter System (AVLS) feature?

The AVLS function limits the maximum volume level in order to protect listeners hearing. The factory default setting for the AVLS function is on.

NOTE: AVLS should display on the LCD when the volume has reached the maximum level allowed by the AVLS feature.

The procedure to turn off the AVLS feature varies by model.

• Some models have an AVLS switch on the unit that can be changed from on to off.
• Some models have the AVLS setting where it can only be accessed from the menu of the unit.
