What is 360 Reality Audio?
360 Reality Audio™ creates an immersive music experience (as if you are at a live concert), thanks to its 360-degree surround sound capabilities.
What do I need to enjoy 360 Reality Audio using a 360 Reality Audio-capable device?
To enjoy 360 Reality Audio, you need the following:
- A compatible 360 Reality Audio device, such as a smartphone.
- Compatible 360 Reality Audio music streaming services.
- Please note that some of the music content offered in the 360 Reality Audio music streaming app is not compatible with 360 Reality Audio.
- For BRAVIA Theatre Quad (HT-A9M2), BRAVIA Theatre Bar 9 (HT-A9000), BRAVIA Theatre Bar 8 (HT-A8000): To set up your audio device (such as a soundbar, home theater system, or wireless speaker), you will need one item from each of the following lists:
- One of the following:
- Amazon Fire TV™ Cube (3rd generation or later)
- Amazon Fire TV Stick 4K (2nd generation or later)
- Amazon Fire TV Stick 4K Max (2nd generation or later)
- One of the following:
- Amazon Music™ app that supports Amazon Fire TV

Which music streaming services are compatible with 360 Reality Audio?
Follow these steps to display the streaming services that provide 360 Reality Audio content in your country:
- Open the Sony | Music Center app, and then select a 360 Reality Audio-capable device.
- Select Settings.
- Select About 360 Reality Audio.
- Select Next.
How can I listen to 360 Reality Audio music on a device that supports 360 Reality Audio?"
Refer to the 360 Reality Audio website for information.
- For HT-A9, HT-A7000, HT-A5000, HT-A5000M, HT-A3000, SRS-RA5000, and SRS-RA3000, these are the steps to play the music that supports 360 Reality Audio:
- On your smartphone, install a streaming service app that provides 360 Reality Audio content.
- Connect the speaker to the same Wi-Fi® network as the smartphone.
- Select 360 Reality Audio compatible music, and then cast (play) it to the speaker.
Note: You can't play 360 Reality Audio music using a Bluetooth® connection.
