Use the BD-Live Feature
The steps vary depending if your Blu-ray Disc™ player has an external or internal memory. Check your manual for model-specific information. Manuals are posted on your model support page.
Devices with External Memory
- Attach the external memory to the EXT port on the back of your device.
- Connect your device to the internet.
- Play a disc that has a BD-Live application.
- You can find this on the back cover of the movie case.
- Select the BD-Live option from the disc menu.
Note:
- Videos and applications from the internet are stored on the external memory.
- The stored data is read from the memory in response to the BD-ROM playback status.
- An external memory device (such as USB flash memory) with 1GB or more of available memory is required to use the BD-Live function.
Devices with Internal Memory
- Connect your device to the internet.
- If the internal memory is full, you can either delete the stored data or insert a blank USB device to the EXT input on the back of your device.
- Play a movie that has the BD-Live application.
- As shown in the sample image below, this information can generally be found on the back cover of the movie case.
- Select the BD-Live option from the disc menu.
Note:
- The screen may become black after BD-Live starts on some discs. If this occurs, wait for a few minutes for BD-Live to begin.
- Videos and applications from the internet are stored on the internal memory of your device.
- The stored data is read from the memory in response to the playback status.
