The sound bar is blocking the IR sensor of the TV.

    The remote control of the TV may stop working if the sound bar is placed in front of the TV. Placing the sound bar too close to the TV may block the IR signal. In that case, moving the sound bar is recommended.

    IMPORTANT: Make sure that the remote control of the TV cannot control the TV before enabling the IR repeater function of the sound bar. If the IR repeater function of the sound bar is set to ON while the remote control can still control the TV, some functions of the TV may not work due to interference issues.

    Follow the steps below to enable the IR repeater function:

    NOTE: Not all sound bar needs an IR blaster cord or has an IR blaster port, some have built in IR blaster function. For further details, refer to the instructions guide that came with the unit. Manuals are posted on your model support page.

    1. Connect the IR Blaster cable to the IR BLASTER jack of the Sound Bar.

    2. Place the IR blaster near the remote control sensor of the TV, aiming the IR emitter of the IR blaster at the remote control sensor of the TV.

    3. Press the MENU button on the sound bar remote control.
    4. Select setupSetup.
    5. Go to system settingSystem Settings.
    6. Press ENTER.
    7. Select IR Repeater.
    8. Select ON.
    9. Press the MENU button to exit the menu screen.
