TV remote control doesn't work when I put a Soundbar or Home Theater System on the TV stand
Can I put a Sound Bar or Home Theater System on the TV stand?
If you are going to place the Soundbar or Home Theater System on the TV stand, make sure the TV screen or the receiving area of the remote control [A] are not obstructed.
- A: Receiving area of the remote control
Note: If the Soundbar or Home Theater System supports an IR repeater function, you can avoid this issue by sending the remote signal from the rear of the Soundbar or Home Theater System. Refer to the product manual to see if your Soundbar or Home Theater System has the IR repeater function, or to see how to turn on the IR repeater function.
We recommend that before making a purchase you refer to the support website for specifications and dimensions of each product to examine the feasibility of placing a Soundbar or Home Theater System on the TV stand. You can also refer to the TV stand for use with a soundbar article for information about which TV's currently have multi-position legs to accomodate the use of a Soundbar.
