Follow the instructions according to the symptom of your device. Check if your TV displays 4K video from the PlayStation® 4 Pro (PS4™ Pro) game console connected through the soundbar or home theater system after completing each step:
Video isn't in 4K resolution.
If your TV, soundbar or home theater system, and PS4 Pro support HDCP 2.2 but the video is in lower resolution, follow these steps:
- Set the HDMI signal format on your devices to Enhanced format.
- On your soundbar or home theater system
- On the soundbar or home theater remote, press the HOME button.
- Select Setup.
- Select Advanced Setup.
- Select HDMI Settings.
- Select HDMI Signal Format.
- If available, select HDMI IN.
- Select Enhanced Format.
- On your TV
- The steps may vary depending on the TV. Check your manual for model-specific information.

- Contact your manufacturer for third-party TVs to check if it has a setting to display high-quality 4K HDMI® resolution from your external inputs.
- Make sure to use a Premium High Speed HDMI cable with ethernet that supports 18Gbps.
- A: Connect your soundbar to the TV with the cable supplied with your soundbar.
- B: Connect your PS4 Pro to the soundbar with the cable supplied with your PS4 Pro.

Make sure to update your TV to the latest firmware version.

Black screen or no display
Your TV may not display the video in 4K resolution if it doesn't support HDCP 2.2. In this case, follow these steps.
- Set the HDMI signal format on your devices to Enhanced format.
- On your soundbar or home theater system
- On the soundbar or home theater remote, press the HOME button.
- Select Setup.
- Select Advanced Setup.
- Select HDMI Settings.
- Select HDMI Signal Format.
- If available, select HDMI IN.
- Select Enhanced Format.
- On your TV

Set your PS4 Pro to HDCP 1.4
- Turn off your game console.
- Press and hold the power button and release it after you hear two beeps.
- You'll hear the second beep seven seconds after the first beep.
- Connect your DualShock® 4 controller with a USB cable.
- Press the PS button.

Select Set HDCP Mode.
- This option is only available on PS4 Pro.

Select HDCP 1.40.
