I can't switch the music playback between my headphones and speaker using the Auto Switch feature

Follow these troubleshooting steps if you have difficulty with the Auto Switch feature.

• Play music on your smartphone with the Sony | Sound Connect app installed and Auto Switch settings completed.
• The Auto Switch feature doesn't work with the hands-free feature of the connected smartphone.
• Move the headphones and speaker closer together.
• If switching from your headphones to the speaker doesn't work, try one of the following:
  • Turn the speaker off, and then turn it back on again.
  • Wear the headphones and then turn them off.
• Restart your smartphone.
• Update your smartphone to the latest Android or iOS version.
• Depending on the smartphone, app, or music file, Auto Switch may not work, or it may take some time to switch the music playback.
• The Walkman player and some smartphone models do not support the Auto Switch feature.
