Keep your speaker clean
Clean foreign substances as soon as possible. Otherwise, it may cause the water-repellent fabric part to become discolored or deteriorate and lead to speaker malfunction. Follow this maintenance procedure to clean salt, sand, and other foreign substances from the water-repellent surface of your speaker:
- Make sure that the rear cap ① on the back of the speaker is completely closed.
- Wash your speaker in fresh water (tap water, etc.) to remove foreign substances.
- The speaker is not resistant to water pressure. Don't perform this step using high water pressure, such as in a shower.
- Wipe any remaining water off of the surface using a soft, dry cloth.
- Put your speaker on a soft, dry cloth with the logo facing down to drain any water collected inside the speaker.
- The sound quality may change if water enters the speaker section of the system. This isn't a malfunction.
- Place your speaker in a well-ventilated location until it dries completely.
- Don't use a vacuum cleaner to remove sand or other foreign substances.
- Don't use detergents, thinner, benzene, alcohol, or other chemicals on your speaker.
- It may affect the water-repellent treatment of the fabric part of your speaker and damage it.
- Don't leave your speaker in cold places.
- Moisture on your speaker may cause it to freeze and malfunction.
