How to start the Windows® XP operating system in VGA mode.
The operating system can be started in VGA mode from the Windows Advanced Options Menu screen.
- Turn on the computer.
- At the Sony startup screen, press and hold the F8 key.
- On the Windows Advanced Options Menu screen, use the keyboard arrows to select Enable VGA Mode .
- Press the Enter key.
- At the Please select the operating system to start: screen, press the ENTER key.
