The video display is poor after downloading video drivers from a non-Sony Web site.

    Follow this procedure to troubleshoot the video display after downloading video drivers from a non-Sony Web site.

    1. Start the computer in Safe Mode.
    2. With the computer running in Safe Mode, on the taskbar, click the Start button, and then click Control Panel.
    3. In the Control Panel window, under Pick a category, double-click the Performance and Maintenance icon.
    4. In the Performance and Maintenance window, under or pick a Control Panel icon, double-click the System icon.
    5. In the System Properties window, click the Hardware tab.
    6. On the Hardware tab, in the Device Manager box, click the Device Manager button.
    7. In the Device Manager window, double-click Display adapters.
    8. Under Display adapters, double-click the listed display adapter.
    9. In the display adapter Properties window, click the Driver tab.
    10. On the Driver tab, click the Roll Back Driver button.
    11. In the display adapter name dialog box, click the Yes button.
    12. In the display adapter Properties window, click the Close button.
    13. Close the Device Manager window.
    14. Close the Control Panel window.
    15. Restart the computer.
