How to use the Search function within the VAIO Care 7 application.

    The Search function within VAIO Care 7 will search content through Windows Help and Support and the eSupport Knowledge base, depending on whether or not you have an active Internet connection.

    1. Click Start.
    2. Click All Programs, and then click VAIO Care.
    3. In the VAIO Care window, within the Search Help and Support field, type a question that you may have and then press the Enter key. Image

      NOTE: As an example, we have used the phrase My computer is slow.

    4. The search results will appear in a Windows Help and Support window, in an online eSupport Knowledge base window, or both. Image

      NOTE: The search results will open and be displayed in separate windows.

    5. Click the Windows Help and Support or eSupport Knowledge base solution that best matches your issue or question for additional steps or details.

    NOTES:

    • With an active Internet connection, the Search function will look through and display results from the internal Windows Help and Support and the eSupport Knowledge base.
    • Without an active Internet connection, the Search function will look through and display results from the internal Windows Help and Support only.
