Hulu is no longer supported on this device or Your user session has expired (Android TV)

If you receive the message Hulu is no longer supported on this device or Your user session has expired, the Hulu app on your TV may require an update.

Starting October 3, 2022, Hulu will no longer support the version of its app currently used on certain Android TV™ models. To continue using Hulu on a supported TV, you'll need to upgrade to the latest version of their app.

Note: Check the Hulu supported devices for a list of devices supported with the latest Hulu app.

Upgrade your Hulu app

To upgrade your Hulu app, you need to uninstall the version currently installed and then install the Hulu app again.

Uninstall the Hulu app:

1. On your Android TV, open the Google Play Store app.
2. Locate and select the Hulu app (use the search function if needed).
3. Select Uninstall.

Install the latest version of the Hulu app:

1. From the Google Play Store app.
2. Locate and select the Hulu app (use the search function if needed).
3. Follow the prompts to download and install the new version.
4. When the installation is finished, click Open to launch the app.
