If you have connected the proper RCA composite cable to the Android TV™/Google TV and there is no signal, be sure to check the following:
- Verify that the proper connection is made between the TV and the source device with the RCA composite cable(s):
- Source device (DVD player, cable/satellite box, etc.)
- Analog 3.5 mm Sony RCA Conversion cable (supplied with some TVs)
- RCA cable (not supplied)
- Select the proper input:
- Press INPUT → Video 1
- Make sure that the specifications of the RCA conversion cable match those of the VIDEO IN jack on your TV. Even if cables appear the same, the standard wiring specifications may be different. In order to transfer the correct audio/video signals, Sony TVs require a cable with functions B - E arranged on the connector as displayed:
- 3.5 mm jack size
- Audio Left (L) signal
- Video signal
- Ground
- Audio Right (R) signal
Note: The 3.5 mm Sony RCA Conversion cable is recommended as signal performance cannot be guaranteed with other manufacturer's cables. The correct conversion cable can be purchased if it is not supplied with your TV.  Go to Parts and Accessories.
