It takes some time for app icons to appear on the Home menu after turning the TV on by plugging the power cord

Because the Home menu screen is drawn from downloaded network content, it might take a bit of time for the apps icons to appear, depending on your network environment. To improve the situation, use the remote control to turn the TV off and on instead of unplugging and plugging back in the AC power cord.
