This information provides the steps to set up the Wi-Fi Direct® feature for your 2015 TV (non Android TV™ models). Select the appropriate series of your TV for instructions:
KDL-xxWxxxC and KD-xxXxxxxC series
Turn on the Built-in Wi-Fi feature of your TV
- On the supplied remote control, press the HOME button.
- Select Settings.
- Under NETWORK &ACCESSORIES, select Network.
- Select Advanced settings.
- Select Built-in Wi-Fi.
- Select On.
Turn on the Wi-Fi Direct feature of the TV
- Press the HOME button.
- Select Settings.
- Under NETWORK &ACCESSORIES, select Network.
- Select Wi-Fi Direct.
- Under the Wi-Fi Direct menu, select Wi-Fi Direct.
- Select On.
- Connect your Wi-Fi Direct device to your TV. For details, refer to the manual of the device you are connecting.
Note: If you're unable to connect successfully, press the OPTIONS button and select Manual.
KDL-xxRxxxC and KLV-xxRxxxCseries
Turn on the Built-in Wi-Fi feature of your TV
- On the supplied remote control, press the HOME button.
- Select Settings.
- Select System Settings.
- Select Set-up.
- Select Network.
- Select Built-in Wi-Fi.
- Select On.
Turn on the Wi-Fi Direct feature of the TV
- Press the HOME button.
- Select Settings.
- Select System Settings.
- Select Set-up.
- Select Network.
- Select Wi-Fi Direct.
- Select On.
- Connect your Wi-Fi Direct device to your TV. For details, refer to the manual of the device you are connecting.
Note: If you're unable to connect successfully, press the OPTIONS button and select Manual.
